We believe that age is not a barrier to knowing Jesus, and so we try to ensure that we make the experience of coming to church safe, fun and appropriate for all ages.
For part of our Sunday service, the children will enjoy age-appropriate activities to help them learn more about Jesus. The adults responsible for leading these times have current DBS checks.
We run events for our kids through the week too.

Youth Bus
Our Youth Bus arrived in August 2020. Our young people have been working to strip it out and create instead a youth venue.
Ignite
Ignite is a group for the 11 to 14s. After a time of worship in the church they board the Bus for their meeting.
Starlight
This is our Sunday School group for the 5-11s. We meet during the Sunday service, 3.30 – 5 pm in the church building
Logon
LOGON is a youth group with a difference. It’s for everyone between the ages of 14-16 years, whether you go to a church or not, and is all about having fun, lots of food and the opportunity to discuss important issues to do with having faith and life in general. We meet on the Bus, Mondays 7.30 – 8.30 pm
In order for your child to join in with regular Sunday school and other weekly events we put on for the Kids here at Poverest Road, please would you complete the Consent Form which you can download here and return it to Naomi.
Barney’s Wood
Each year we run a two night trip to “Barney’s Wood”. Wild camping and time to think about our faith in a new way.
Capernwray
Each year many of our intrepid youth travel to Capernwray to learn more about Christ and to meet with Him in a new way.
